Icelandic javelin thrower Asdis Hjalmsdottir is a three-time Olympic athlete, an Icelandic record holder and has five World Championship appearances behind her, but she knows she has yet to reach her full potential.

Asdis reached a point in her training where her workouts were lagging and her body wasn’t recovering. That’s when she began to doubt herself and questioned if she wanted to keep competing.

Rather than hesitate on her dream to bring home an Olympic medal, she decided to do something about it. That’s when she made the choice to focus on her nutrition and join Team WAG, and now she’s in the best shape of her life with Tokyo 2020 in sight.
