To lose the baby weight and to find confidence in myself again.
I lost around 16 pounds and leaned out, then we transitioned into maintaining and getting a little bit stronger. I got to my leanest very quickly but have since found a healthy and sustainable lean for the season of life we are in!
I don’t know if I would have ever developed a new found relationship with food and myself if it wasn’t for finding WAG. I was a year into motherhood and knew something needed to change in my diet in order to take back control of my body. As a former college gymnast at a D1 school, body image has always been a struggle for me. I’ve struggled with disordered eating, and putting a lot of pressure on myself my entire life so when my coach helped me through some issues, I started to see a change in not only my physical appearance but more importantly my mental health. I have definitely had those days where the numbers weren’t hit perfectly and came down hard on myself, but my coach was always there to remind me that consistency over perfection is the way to a healthy life. The battle isn’t over, but I now have tools to work through them!
