To be lean and strong!! I was coming from a higher fat diet where my energy started tanking. This was seen in my training sessions as well. I was also starting school back up in addition to working full-time and I needed help! I lost about 6 pounds in the first 3 months. I recently started strength back up and have started adding more muscle!
I've tried a couple different nutrition programs in the past. What I enjoy so much about WAG is the flexibility and their understanding that nutrition isn't purely just physical, but also mental. I have been able to find out where my hunger comes from at times to keep me from stress-eating. Checking in every week on my mood, hunger, energy, etc. has been incredibly helpful. My coach has checked in and made suggestions for not only food sources, but also timing and even mentality when approaching training, daily habits, and food prep. It has helped so much in reducing my stress and my change in nutrition has been a game changer for my energy and performance. As a firefighter, I work crazy hours and my sleep can be all over the place. My coach has helped me to better understand the effects on my body and mind, keeping me motivated, energized, and excited to attack each week! Joining WAG has had such a huge impact on me and I can't wait to see my continued results.
