I gained more from Team WAG than I lost, even though I lost 30.8 pounds. I joined Working Against Gravity to help transform the way I looked. I was working out but you couldn't tell by my body composition so I was willing to try anything. After I received my program I went to work. I had come from a paleo type diet so the amount of carbs scared me. At first I was a little skeptical of the fact that I could eat anything I wanted as long as it fit my macros. But I trusted the process and my coach.

It didn't take long for me to see results. Almost instantly I had more energy and although I felt like I was actually eating more food than ever before I started losing weight. My weight would definitely fluctuate throughout the week, up 1 then down two, but every week showed the downward trend that you are looking for. Even when the scale wasn't moving as quickly as I liked the composition changes I saw in my body kept me motivated. After all that was my real goal and a better gauge of progress than the # on the scale. It didn't long for people to notice the changes and a few people I saw all the time hardly recognized me.

The accountability was something I needed as well. Filling in the spreadsheet every week and sending it into my coach made me want to try a little harder. Having to take the progress pics every single week made me stick to the program because I didn't want to disappoint me coach. My coach's email every week was something I looked forward to and the words of wisdom and encouragement kept me going even when I was feeling a little tired or unmotivated. Francesco was a huge reason I succeeded.

The thing with WAG that was really a game changer was the flexibility of what I ate. Paleo is so restrictive and I would do really well for a couple weeks and then feel deprived and I would fall off the wagon hard. I would go on a couple day binge of eating everything and sabotage any progress I had made. WAG does promote real food to hit your macros but with WAG I was able to have candy and ice cream every now and then as long as I planned for it. Knowing that at anytime I could have a small bowl of ice cream or a few gummi bears made me feel free and I didn't have those cravings nearly as bad because it wasn't "forbidden". It changed my relationship with food without a doubt. I no longer felt guilty about having that ice cream or those gummi bears which made it easy to stick to the program.

So I would totally recommend WAG to anyone looking for help with their nutrition. The changes that WAG helped me make and the things I learned on the program will be things that I use and that will help me for the rest of my life. Do it! Seriously just do it.
