This solid program is a game changer. Before I started this program, I overtrained and underfed myself for years, then wondered why I wasn't seeing a noticeable difference in my body or my lifts. I tried eating low calories and pushing myself as hard as I could in the gym, but my body fought back and held onto the weight. When I first started WAG, my main goal was to get shredded, but those goals have evolved into something more than that. When I began to focus on fueling my body for my workouts instead of only to look a certain way, my lifts got better, I had more energy, I felt better, my clothes got too big, and the scale started trending down. I'm gaining muscle and losing fat, but more importantly, I actually feel more comfortable in my own skin.
My coach is a gem and not only gives me nutrition guidance and advice but cares about my mental health as well and what is going on in my life. She celebrates my highs and lifts me up from my lows. This body has carried 3 kids and been mistreated with endless fad diets, but I'm finally feeling like a stronger and healthier version of myself. This program has taught me how to balance food, not restrict it. You can eat for fuel, but also enjoy your food.... it's a newfound freedom.
