At 5 months postpartum, my goal was definitely fat loss. But as someone who dealt with hypothalamic amenorrhea for almost 6 years, then had to do my own research to finally figure out what was going on with my body, recover, get pregnant, and give birth...I wanted to prove to myself and to other women that you can reach your goals in a healthy and sustainable way without taking extremes. I have lost 17 lbs so far.
Initially I started working with WAG as a way to learn how best to be a client and what good coaching really looks like. I was blown away. From my first check-in with my coach, to now my 15th she has been caring and attentive, and steers me in the right direction if she senses I’m walking off a ledge, hah. To be honest I came into the program thinking I knew what I was doing but just needed accountability, and I was so wrong. The focus on mindfulness, the support you get from all different areas, and the relatability to the coaches are all huge assets to the program. It’s obvious that everyone at WAG is in your corner and wants you to succeed for YOU, your goals, and your overall health, not for their business.
