My goal was to lean out, increase strength and performance and to have an overall healthier relationship with food.
WAG has been such a game changer both physically and mentally. I grew up overweight and as an adult have lost and gained the same 20lbs over and over. I struggled to find an eating plan that worked for me long-term. I have been doing CrossFit for 3 ½ years and fell into the mindset of “I work-out a lot, so I can eat a lot”. I ended up at my heaviest (as an adult) right before I decided to start WAG. I was at my tipping point. I hated to look in the mirror, wear tank tops or anything tight fitting. WAG has not only helped me lose some unwanted weight, but become stronger at the same time. I have PR’d multiple lifts, increased my stamina, endurance and confidence all while leaning out. My coach has been a HUGE part of my progress. She has been with my every step of the way to answer any questions I have, encourage me, help me navigate any difficult situation and give me the tools to be successful on multiple levels. She also tells me what I need to hear, and not just what I want to hear.
Even though I still have bad days, WAG has helped me learn how to start fresh every day. I no longer look at any food as a “bad” or negative food; beat myself up for eating a certain food or eat out of stress. The biggest thing I love about WAG is that I am being given the tools to sustain a healthy lifestyle for years to come.
