To get back to my ideal weight and body that I had a year prior
I first heard about WAG through some of the Crossfit athletes I follow on social media and decided to take the plunge and try it out. To give you a bit of a background, I have dabbled into many diets before WAG including a makeshift IIFYM. After starting WAG it was clear that I was missing out on a whole different aspect of IIFYM. I started WAG because I wanted to get back to my ideal weight and body that I had a year prior. During that year, I started a new job that was farther than my previous job was and I ended up eating a lot more than I used to. Eventually that lead to a 14kg gain over a span of a year despite my rigorous workout regimen. I was assigned Hillary as my coach and I don't think I could have gotten a better or more understanding coach. She called me out on what I need to work on be it life changes or food choices and understood when life gets in the way. She helped me prep for both a weightlifting and powerlifting meet and ensured I made weight, in which I easily did. I started WAG at 110kg and ended around 91kg. I never enjoyed dieting but this diet was setup in a way where I don't miss out much in life while maintaining my life. I will forever be grateful for the tools WAG has given me and lessons learned about food and diet. People still come up to me and ask me how I do it and I owe it all to Hillary and WAG.
