I wanted to get better control of my nutrition. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, I have a good background in nutrition, especially since I am currently taking classes to get a masters in this field. I really was looking for accountability. I needed something to keep me focused and keep me accountable to my nutrition goals. I didn’t have a goal weight in mind I just wanted to lose some fat and increase my lean mass. I’ve lost 11 pounds...that I didn’t even know I had to lose!
I love it. I may not have lost as much weight as other people who have been using this program as long as I have. I definitely had some weeks where I was not perfect and this program is really taught me that it’s OK! My coach is so supportive and gives me all the tips and tricks to be successful. I’ve been through a few crazy fitness things that they helped me through (Boston Marathon, small in-house competition), and a few not so great things that I had a hard time with nutrition (several emergency trips to Florida for a family death, loss of motivation).
The WAG community is so supportive and encouraging which is why I recommend it to so many people. I got a friend from my old CrossFit gym to sign up, and my mom will probably be signing up shortly!
