Decrease Body Fat/Lean out, Increase Strength, Improve Endurance and Work Capacity(CrossFit).
So far, WAG has been exceptional. When I thought for the longest I couldn't lose weight or further lean out, I have lost ~7lbs to-date (currently @ 174lbs), however it has come with it's challenges and has been quite a roller-coaster ride with a busy schedule that requires travel and 3 young kids pulling you all directions. Coming from a somewhat-Paleo lifestyle, I wanted to try something different, adjusting my nutritional guidance that would align to my fitness goals. Prior to WAG, I felt I was in really good shape. I was pretty lean to begin with, devoted to Strength training and CrossFit 6 days a week, but was also eager to try something new and take on a new challenge in WAG. Although I could eat just about all meats, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fruit with Paleo, it has been nice to change it up a bit and get back to eating whatever I want (to a certain degree), yet gain in a number of ways. I've been able to lean out and improve my performance in the gym while vastly improving body composition and cardio-endurance. Gymnastics wise, I've been able to focus and gain improvements on core strength and gymnastics movements, significantly.
Honestly, I joined WAG to support my wife. Based on the WAG success throughout our box, she made the commitment and leap to join WAG first and I decided last minute to tag a long. Figured it was easier for the both of us to pursue and support each other, considering we both share similar fitness goals and enjoy spending time in the kitchen. What I have gained the most with WAG has been... 1. A great coach in Crosby who has been responsive, knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging along the whole way... 2. Realizing the more Carbs the more energy and fuel I have in the tank all day, in and out of the gym. Prior to WAG, I felt lethargic and non-productive on a daily basis and during workouts. 315g of Carbs a day seems like a load, but it sure promotes significant gainz in a number or ways... 3. WAG has helped me realize the proper way to rationalize, time, and properly portion the right quality foods relative to my Macronutrients... 4. I'm more in tuned to food and proper nutrition. It's been nice to eat like a human again, having an occasional cookie or Froyo, so long as it met the daily numbers. :)Get Your Coach Today!
