TestimonialI joined Working Against Gravity in May of 2016, approximately 20 months after having a baby. I had always been athletic and lifted weights my entire pregnancy, but coming back after having a baby with a full time job was tough and I had let bad habits back into my life out of convenience. I heard about WAG through a podcast and decided that I needed help getting back on track. When I started with WAG, I learned that I wasn't eating enough food and what I was eating was way off in terms of macros! I started following the macros that my coach, Taylor, sent me each week and found that I was able to have a little treat each night and was never hungry or felt deprived. The most exciting part of my time with WAG is that I have been able to achieve my results while still being a wife, momma, and friend. I am only working out three days a week and still seeing a huge difference in weight and energy levels. Taylor has helped me to find a sustainable, realistic lifestyle without me feeling like I am taking time away from my family or job. What I have loved about my time with WAG is that Taylor and the entire WAG community has helped me find the balance I have been searching for since having a baby. While getting new, postpartum PRs in the gym has been fun, it isn't what has been important. Being able to model to my daughter what a strong, healthy woman can do both physically and mentally has become my why. Working Against Gravity has helped me realize my why and has been the vehicle to get there. All of the members are encouraging and the coaches are attuned to what their athletes goals are.
