When I joined team WAG, my goal was to make my health my number one priority. I knew after having my second child, that if I didn't have a coach to check in with every week to hold me accountable, I would put my health on the back burner. Team WAG was THE ONLY thing I did for myself on a weekly, daily basis. My coach has always been my reminder, "first take of yourself and then you can give to your children, husband, others." Because of team WAG and my coach, I feel like the energetic, confident, vibrant Nicole before sleep deprivation and two kids! Haha!
Weight has gone up and down at various times throughout the process. But overall, I have lost a lot of fat and replaced it with muscle since starting with my coach last February. It's all about your goals and what you want to accomplish. I have learned to care less about the scale because my check-in pictures and clothes prove the scale does not mean anything.
The Working Against Gravity program has been the GREATEST reminder that our health must be our top priority. Prior to children, I was very active with CrossFit and coaching softball. After children, I struggled with my weight and maintaining energy on very little sleep. The WAG program has been THE ONLY solution for achieving my health goals. Checking in with my coach every week has been the GREATEST challenge. She is the most positive reminder of WHY I am here, WHAT my goals are, and HOW we can achieve them NO MATTER WHAT outside variables are going on. She is the most genuine, caring coach I have had in the program. Working Against Gravity is my self care and my time to remind myself of who I am outside of being a Mom and a wife.
