My goal was to change my relationship with food and in doing so improve my physical and mental wellbeing. I have lost over 46 pounds as of today!
The WAG program has given me the knowledge and tools to make a huge change in my lifestyle. The accountability of weekly check-ins coupled with the support, encouragement, and knowledge of a skilled coach has been more effective than any other previous attempts at improving my lifestyle.
Focusing on hitting macronutrient goals rather than worrying about what foods to avoid is a much more enjoyable way to eat. It is the emphasis on consistency and accuracy that has lead to my success. I enjoy making sure I hit my goals and that my eating is precisely measured.
My relationship with food has completely changed. I used to eat whatever I felt like whenever and in thoughtless quantities. I used food as a way to cope with stress and anxiety. I now have a very thoughtful approach to eating, since weighing and tracking macros necessitates portion control. My enjoyment of food hasn't suffered any, however! I have been able to use these methods to enjoy meals out, celebrating, and traveling all while staying on track.
