Goal

My goal was to gain back some control over food and lose the extra weight after big life changes.

I lost 9 pounds overall, but I learned over time that my goal wasn't really a number on the scale. It was how can I maintain a healthy body that allowed me to live life, recover well, and perform well in the gym.

Testimonial

I'm a CrossFit and OCR coach, athlete, and mom of 4. I felt like I had to have it all together all the time. At the start of 2020, I went through some big life changes, and life was turned upside down along with the stress of COVID. I was no longer was able to spend 12 or more hours a week in the gym, and when I got really honest with myself I didn't want to. My biggest struggle was watching my body change after years of hard work. I felt like I was losing my identity. I felt like I needed help to re-learn what heathy was.

I reached out to WAG when I did not have enough capacity to find my new normal. I'm a firm believer that even coaches need coaches. Even though I knew all the "right" things to do, I just could not do them alone. Amy was the perfect fit for me. She said all the right things every week to encourage me, support me, and remind me that health was the most important part. I was able, to be honest with her and more importantly with myself. I learned so much about what was truly important for me in my new season of life. I had gained 18 pounds after my life was flipped upside down. I thought I had to lose all 18 pounds to keep my identity. However, I'm thrilled with my 9-pound weight loss. I saw gains and set personal records in the gym every month. Now I spend 4 hours a week in the gym and focus on my recovery and macros. My health and fitness routine is maintainable, and my identity is not lost.

Thank you, Amy and WAG for all your support.
