My goals were not to focus on weight loss and aesthetics, but more to learn to use and adjust macros to affect performance in the gym. I wanted to learn how to eat for performance.
My coach has been incredibly supportive and responsive throughout my time with WAG. She not only gave good advice and direction, but also was open in teaching me how’s and why’s of macros. There is still so much to learn, but I feel confident and in total control of my nutrition in the future. I now am just starting to understand my body, and the positive and negative effects of different foods and eating habits. This journey for me hasn’t only been about weighing and measuring my food, but evaluating my relationship with food, triggers (edible and emotional!) and how to eliminate, live with, and engrain healthy eating habits. At 38 years old and after 3 kids, I would’ve never thought I’d be able to look, feel and perform like I do today, and I’m not even done! I can’t say enough positive things about the WAG program, its coaches, resources and support system gained through fellow members.
