Decrease fat, increase strength, see my abs, get a strict pull up, muscle up, squat clean 150lbs, handstand walk.
WAG brought this next-level cognizance into my life that I didn't know I needed, but am stoked to have found. The whole process of counting macros is SO much more than food and numbers. Through WAG I became ridiculously aware of what I was putting into my body, and the direct physical and mental product. What started out as a diet (meaning what and how much I was eating, not like a 'diet' diet) change turned into a whole-life overhaul. Along the way I DID get a strict pull-up, I can string together handstand push-ups and I can see my abs if I squint! I also accomplished things on my bucket list - like place in a CrossFit competition, run a 1/2 Marathon, train for a full marathon (running it in March)! Sure, there were days that were less than perfect, I spent some time being angry, questioning the process, and just down right doubting myself. But, that's the beauty of WAG - it changes your mindset, it allows you to find immense freedom through structure, consistency, and vulnerability. I went in expecting to just start measuring and weighing my food, and now I realize that EVERYthing has an impact (hello, sleep!) on my physical and mental state, and WAG gave me the most surprising and successful starting point on a crazy new path to being the most legit version of myself to date. OH, and my coach is a rockstar, that might have something to do with it, too 😉!
