When I joined WAG, I was 3 months postpartum and didn’t recognize myself. Yes, I had JUST given birth to an amazing little girl, but I was having a hard time with what I was left with. I feel like this postpartum journey is such a bittersweet moment in your life. You’re amazed at what your body can do but eager to get your body back to what it was before baby. I have been doing CrossFit since August 2013, so naturally, I did CrossFit while I was pregnant. I, of course, thought that since I worked out throughout my pregnancy, I would walk out of the hospital and just bounce back to my normal self. I also had people tell me “if you breastfeed, the weight will just fall off”. Well, lucky me, that was not the case. So needless to say, I was ready to jump on the WAG bandwagon.

Testimonial

I have nothing but great things to say about this program. Not only does it transform you physically, but also mentally. My coach, Amy, was so motivating and encouraging. She made tracking and check-ins so easy. She was also very mindful of my milk supply which was helpful. I was a little wary of joining WAG because I was breastfeeding, but it was the best decision. I never thought I’d get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and be hitting pre-pregnancy PRs in the gym but I am doing both of these 9 months postpartum.

I lost 20 pounds and got back to my pre-baby weight!
