I started the program to figure out exactly what my body needs to perform well for competitions and to shed any excess weight that I was holding on to.
I absolutely love WAG. Before WAG, I was eating somewhat paleo while being macro conscious to some extent. My diet consisted of a lot of healthy foods, but just in the wrong amounts. That is what I was missing. WAG provided me with the unbiased direction that I needed. This program has helped me figure out how to properly fuel for daily training and competitions. I have also learned that I can still have some of my favorite foods while still eating towards my goals. At first, macro counting and measuring absolutely everything that I consumed took some adjusting, but I quickly got into a routine. Counting macros and measuring food is second nature to me now. I will still eat out on occasion. Sometimes I estimate what I eat and sometimes I will weigh out the food there at the restaurant. Throughout this process, I have learned how to be more mindful when it comes to what I am eating and when I am eating. I could have not have achieved all of this without the help of my wonderful WAG coach. She has guided me throughout the entire experience and continues to answer any question that I may have!
