My goal was to lose some weight and change my body composition so I was more comfortable in my skin. At my peak of weight loss, I was down 25 pounds. I have since moved to a maintenance phase and gained 2-3 pounds of lean mass.
WAG has been an incredibly eye-opening experience. I thought I knew a lot about nutrition and I have competed in many sports in my lifetime including triathlon, bodybuilding, and CrossFit. In retrospect, I have put my body through some pretty terrible diet processes in order to accomplish those goals. I was at a point where I knew what I wanted as far as body composition goals but was not willing to suffer anymore to get them. WAG changed all that.
The cutting phase of my program was very manageable and at the beginning, I didn't really believe it was possible to lose weight with the amount I was eating. But I did, and I just kept losing. It wasn't very long before I had gained complete trust in my coach and as long as I did my part and was diligent in my efforts the results showed every week. I'm now in a maintenance phase and am eating what feels like an incredible amount of food and not gaining any fat at all. I wish that I could have had WAG in my corner years ago!
