I wanted to feel better about myself, improve my relationship with food, understand how to utilize food to fuel my athletic performance, be able to plan for success with a busy work schedule, and train to PR for a half marathon. I am down 20 pounds so far.
The WAG program helped me stay accountable to myself. I learned how consistency was infinitely more important than perfection, and how to move forward in a positive direction day after day. I have tried many different things to lose weight and improve athletic performance, and WAG is the one thing that has stuck with me for more than a quick 30 day up and down roller coaster. Flexible dieting works with my hectic professional life and allows me to perform at my best in the gym as well. My coach was a constant source of positive reinforcement, and it was nice to have someone who understood where I started, where I was going and helped me map out a healthy route to get there. I am really excited and confident that I will be able to use the tools from WAG throughout the rest of my life. :)
