My goal with WAG was to lose postpartum weight while increasing my performance in CrossFit. Specifically to be able to do bodyweight movements (pull-ups and handstand push-ups etc) and to have the confidence to compete. I lost 36 pounds in 6 months!
WAG and CrossFit have changed my life. Before WAG I was eating fairly healthy and working out every day without seeing much change in my post-baby body. I knew what to eat and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. With WAG I finally learned not just what to eat but how to properly fuel my body for what I wanted it to do every day. The physical changes are great, but more important to me I was pushed outside of my comfort zone due to personalized coaching with WAG and found confidence in not just nutrition and the gym but in life! WAG has taught me how to make choices that fit my goals in all settings; I have conquered travel, the holiday months, and countless social gatherings without losing sight of my goals or restricting myself. I set out to become a better, more fit athlete, and change my body composition-those are all still works in progress but I am closer everyday with WAG and the unexpected benefits of having freedom with food choices and learning to take control of my health and nutrition in a balanced way has truly impacted all other aspects of who I am.
