I originally lost about 5kg but I am currently only 1kg down on my starting weight! Huge change in lifestyle (moved from the UK to Asia) resulted in a big loss of strength for me and I wanted to focus on building up my strength again - my initial goals with WAG were related to how I looked hence the weight loss but have changed to how I perform hence the weight gain :)
I love WAG! I started WAG initially to look more ripped and athletic but over time WAG has done so much more for me - my relationship with food is so much better I have always tracked macros but I was never honest with myself and if I went out for dinner or drinks I would completely over indulge to the point where I would feel ill. I can now go out for dinner enjoy a nice healthy meal, have one or two drinks and not derail my process - this for me is HUGE! WAG has also helped improve my relationship with myself I thought that losing weight and having a 6 pack would make me happy - this was my original goal with WAG and I did achieve this thanks to WAG and it felt great but I was wrong about the happines in fact I am happier now closer to my original weight - I have realised that eating to perform and setting your goals around performance in the gym makes me much happier and looking great is just a side effect - I may be the same weight as when I started but I look so much different and am constantly amazed every time I find new muscles. I would say for the first time in my life I am completely happy with my body and love the things it can do and the way it feels!
