When I originally signed up for WAG my goals were to lean out, decrease body fat and improve gymnastics for Crossfit. I had no idea I would stay with WAG as long as I have.
I was on a cut for 15 weeks and currently on week 31 and still trying to find the right maintenance macros that work for me. I’m shocked everyday by how much food I am able to eat. Consistency is key when wanting to reach your goals. I am on target with my macros every day, through holidays, gatherings and travel. I make it a priority! Having a great support system also helps.
I’ve lost over 10 lbs., 9 inches, body fat decreased from 19% to 12%, and also gained 1.5lb of lean muscle. I was blown away by this. Also made lots of PRs in the gym. I have learned so much about food and nutrition since I began. Weighing and measuring has taught me so much about what I am putting in my body. I prefer to eat mostly healthy & nutritious foods rather than fill my macros with empty calories. But I love that I can treat myself when I choose to do so.
My favorite part about WAG is having a coach (Kelsie) who can tweak my macros as she feels needed, hold me accountable every day and give me the structure I need. I also love the support of the Facebook group. The flexibility I have now helps me to not want to over-eat or binge eat. I’m able to fit in what I want on occasions.
