When I started WAG I was just getting over an SI joint issue that kept me really restricted in the gym. Even though I wasn't able to do what I wanted in the gym, I was able to control what I could outside the gym, which was my nutrition. WAG helped keep me accountable for everything I put into my body. After the first month, I was almost completely recovered from my injury. I was worried that my lifts would suffer from this, but I actually made quite a few PRs! This is the strongest and lightest I have ever felt. I've not only grown physically, but mentally as well. This process has taught me not to care about what others think and to focus on my goals. It can be hard being in college and hanging around friends who just don't understand the lifestyle I have chosen. However, this has, without a doubt, strengthened my will power and self control. I've formed habits that aren't just going to help me with my nutrition but also in other aspects of my life. I couldn't have done this without my coach, Hillary. I am so thankful for the help and guidance she has given me throughout this entire process. I've also learned so much and am so excited to continue using the knowledge I have gained.
