My goal was to better understand my nutrition needs and get the best possible results from my workouts. I am down 31 pounds so far!
I cannot find the words to explain how much of a remarkable change WAG has helped me make in my life. I resisted addressing my eating habits for so long... firstly because I genuinely thought I was a "healthy eater", and secondly because I mistakenly believed that eating whatever I wanted (whenever I wanted) was the best type of "self-care" for me. After a lot of hesitation, I decided to give WAG a try. I thought, if nothing else, I would lose a bit of weight.
What I have gained (so far) is so much more than weight loss, although I am so proud of 30+ pounds I have dropped. I am able to properly fuel myself, I understand what my body actually needs to feel its best, and I no longer stress about my food intake (thanks to the structure AND flexibility of the program). I thought I would be a member of WAG for a few months and then get back to my "normal life", but the program is part of my new normal and for this, I am eternally grateful.
I can't wait to see what the next six months have in store!
