I joined WAG because I was lacking accountability and wanted to lose weight. My diet had been "clean" for the most part, and I always tracked but I gave myself too much wiggle room. At the same time I joined WAG, I joined a high-intensity competitors CrossFit program at my gym and really needed to get my diet together.
I've only lost 4-5 pounds! Which is crazy! My body has re-comped SO much since joining WAG. In October of 2017 (3 months into WAG) I decided to go get my body fat tested and went again in April to check my progress. I lost 3.2% body fat and gained nearly 3 pounds of muscle with only a two-pound difference on the scale! AMAZING!
I love WAG. It's completely changed my outlook. The accountability makes a huge difference in the choices I make. Not only that, I am performing so much better in the gym. I am getting stronger every day. Macros aside, WAG has also taught me about my body. I've learned what foods work best for me and which ones do not, and I no longer beat myself up if my weight fluctuates (which it ALWAYS does lol). The program taught me so much about things that play into your body, like sleep quality, levels of training, or stress. In the beginning, my check-ins were always negative and I focused so much on my fallouts. Now, I check in and say things like "my weight is up today because I've been stressed this week" or "I've been training at higher percentages this week". Aside from being my macro coach, Jessica has basically been my life coach! I look forward to when I get to check-in with her each week. She is always reminding me how great I am doing and is SO positive. As I said above, my weight has consistently stayed within the same 4 pounds, but I feel so much more confident about my body now. Trusting the process has helped me so much! I honestly cannot say enough good things about WAG. I'm a lifer!
