Goal

To lean out, but keep my strength. I don't have a particular number for a "goal weight in mind" but to just be comfortable and happy with my body.

Testimonial

I started out at 134 pounds on my first day on WAG and on the last day of WAG I was 120 pounds. I lost a total of 3 inches around my waist, 1.7 inches around my hips and 2 inches around my chest.

I have tried many diets and this is the first diet that I actually feel as if I can stick with for the rest of my life. I was a Division I collegiate athlete and was always used to training 11 times a week and not really having to monitor what I ate. Once I graduated from college, I wasn't able to train that much so what I was eating really started to effect my body. I did not consider myself "overweight" but my body just wasn't where I wanted it to be. Although I only "officially" stuck with WAG for 12 weeks, I will continue counting my macros because this is a diet that I feel unrestricted on and I feel as if my relationship with food has improved immensely. I used to be one of those people who thought that if I ate a donut I would then have to go on a mile run to burn it off. I always felt extremely guilty after eating anything with sugar or anything considered a dessert--I had an unhealthy relationship with food to say the least. This program has given me the freedom to understand what it is that I am eating and how foods effect my body. And although weighing your food may sound like a lot of work, it really was not that difficult. It doesn't add that much time to your food prep and once you get used to it, it becomes a habit.

The number one thing I loved about this program is that I was still able to attend group functions without feeling like the person who "is on a diet and can't eat anything there." A lot of social functions revolve around food, and being on this diet did not make me feel as if I couldn't attend those functions. I would just have to plan ahead and figure out what it is that I could eat, and it always worked out. Where I work, we are taken out to lunch at least twice a week and I was always able to eat with my coworkers when we ate out because I would plan ahead of time and find something that would fit my macros. This is a program I would encourage anyone to do because I truly believe that you can reach your body goals healthily, physically and mentally, doing this program.
