I just want to feel good about what I see in the mirror and what I see in the box. Ultimately, I'd like to be at a weight where I can be competitive in Olympic Weightlifting and also in CrossFit.
So far, my experience with WAG has been great. My coach, Katie, is probably the most positive and encouraging human alive. ESPECIALLY when I'm feeling down or discouraged. I have had good weeks, bad days, emotional days and days where I want to just run away and quit. She never fails to redirect me, give me positive reinforcement and help me. I am --slowly-- learning how to have a healthy relationship with food and understand that victories are not always tied to the number on the scale.
