I started WAG hoping to lean out without losing muscle mass. The program has done that and so much more for me. When I began the program, I has been following a Paleo-ish diet during the week, with "cheat days" on the weekends. However, by depriving myself certain foods at certain times, I ended up going way overboard with these foods when I had those "cheat days." My weight and my energy levels would bounce up and down. Through my weekly check-ins with my awesome coach, Ashley, I have begun to build a much healthier relationship with food. During this process, I have noticed an increase in energy throughout the day, I am sleeping better, and am performing better in the gym. I was nervous that I might lose some strength with the weight loss,but instead I have achieved a 15# PR on my front squat, a 20# PR on my hang power clean, and I was able to cut 45 seconds off of a benchmark workout, all in the last couple of weeks! I could not be happier with my WAG experience and am so thankful for Coach Ashley and her support!
