You can never go wrong with a mug of hot chocolate in the colder months, but it’s also a great nightcap should you have some macros left to hit and want to end your day with something sweet and high in protein.
Plus, if you decide to make this before bed, protein can help your body recover while you sleep. I like to use light coconut milk to bring in some creaminess and healthy fats but if you need a lower fat option try using low-fat/non-fat dairy, water or 50/50 milk and water as your liquid.

Instructions
- Heat 8oz of milk on stovetop about 3 minutes until simmering, or microwave for 90 seconds.
- Add dark chocolate and collagen to the bottom of your mug.
- Pour heated milk over the top and stir, or froth with a handheld frother.
- Add the optional whipped cream to the top and enjoy!
