You win .. or you learn. - I'm trying to wrap my head around this whole season. Mostly just the fact that it is over. This is certainly not the results we wanted but in a weird sense this might have been my favorite CrossFit Games so far .. we got to FIGHT & we got to LEARN so much more than any of the times we stood on top of the podium. Giving it everything we have, regardless of circumstances, is something Ben talks to me about alllllllll the time .. now we got to live it. - I've been on both sides of the story where at the end of it all my name is called & also when someone else's is .. and that hurts. When I know we CAN win .. It hurts. We can still walk away with our head held high & no regrets. I feel like you can only regret something & it truly be a mistake if you don't learn from it. If you learn, you win. - The competition is AHHMAZING, my competitors are absolutely incredible athletes & it is nothing at all to be ashamed of to be standing behind them at the end of it all. They really impress me. And they REALLY give me fire for this whole upcoming year 💥😈🔥💜 I can't wait to be back .. 2018 is in trrrrrrouble hehe - THANK YOU @crossfitgames, @crossfit, @thedavecastro, all the judges, volunteers & YOU GUYS for putting up this whole event & making it what is is .. it allows all of us to day in & day out all year round do what we absolutely love the most .. & then bring it to light at this amazing event 💥❤️🌟😍 - More thoughts to come & my TEAM 💕 & support system deserves a whole thank you post alllllll to themselves. - Okkkayyyy - Longest post everrrrrrrrrrr .. OUT 👋🏼😘 xoxo

Games re-cap - the weekend started out with one of my proudest moments,I swam 500m in open water unassisted and completed the run/swim/run in under the time cap.Unfortunately, the 25 mins I spent in the water left my body depleted and I dealt with muscle spasms and cramping throughout the day and night for the next couple of days. I couldn't push my body where it normally can go and that was frustrating. I started feeling a little more like myself on Saturday afternoon only to trip going down a ramp out of the stadium during the run/air squat/burpee event. I was annoyed because the time it costed me caused me to finish 10th instead of 2 or 3.The tumble left me with road rash,a sprained ankle, and most likely a broken hand.I struggled to complete muscle ups and handstand walks in the next event due to my hand. I was glad that I could make the Sunday events work with my injuries and finish the weekend, though more cautiously than I would have liked. Perhaps I didn't get to test my actual fitness as much as I would have liked, but I still wouldn't trade the opportunity. It's in these moments that we learn who we really are, I learned more about myself under the circumstances than I would have if everything had gone "as planned". It's easy to enjoy the moment and stay positive when things are going well, it's a whole different story when every time you refocus, things only seem to get worse. A couple of bad days at the CF Games doesn't define me or discredit what it takes to get there. It was an honor to stand next to the amazing ladies in my division, who are all ridiculously fit. I'm grateful to the small handful of family and friends who knew my struggles and left no stone unturned trying to help me this weekend, especially my husband, who worked harder than anyone running from my events to Cole's and handled everything behind the scenes.I'm incredibly proud of Cole and how he carried himself throughout the weekend. The Crossfit community continues to humble me and make me proud to be a part of it. I'm going to listen to my body - now that it has basically screamed at me - and take a little time off, but God willing, I would love the opportunity to be back next year.
The end of another @crossfitgames season means time for reflection of the past week and the past year. This is the end of a long season which brings a great sense of relief, however, this year was much different than previous years. After past games, I've been wrecked physically and mentally. I would look back at the leaderboard with bitterness and doubt. There were many times that the thought of competing again made me so anxious I wanted to quit. Blaming outside factors was the easiest way to deal with not accomplishing what I thought I deserved. But this year was different. I finally realized that although competing in a sport based on the unknown can be frustrating, how you react to every situation is up to you! This year, I decided that no matter what happened, I would continue to fight through each event, and move forward with every workout being its own new challenge. I will admit that I tried to slip a few times mentally, but luckily I had Ben around as back up! The 2017 CrossFit Games was very refreshing for me, and I'm proud of how things turned out. I'm truly thankful for the fans that greeted me with excitement and awe, regardless of how I did in the previous event! I'm thankful for every shining moment, as well as the many humbling moments, being surrounded by a stacked field of competitors. With that said, I'm excited to get back to training and give it all I've got for one more season, Lord willing ! Here's to 2018.. onward and upward! 📸 @airrosti

So 2 weeks ago I dislocated my shoulder and tore my labrum very badly ... I rehab it the best I could and came into this weekend hoping to have a smooth weekend without bad luck... my shoulder was feelling pretty okay going into competition but during the bike event my bike slipped and I fail on my bad shoulder and it came out again... I was waiting after to see what would happen but it felt like it was coming out of its socket so I decided to pull myself out and try to get a speedy recovery instead of maybe maybe being able to compete a little bit and not at full capacity with a big chance to injure myself even more.... please don't feel sorry for me this is just life and i guess it's a 2 year plan this time... btw sorry to everyone who put me in their top 10 pick em from reebok 😂🙈#joke #Repost @crossfitgames ・・・ @camillelbaz, already dealing with a shoulder injury, confirmed that she dislocated her shoulder in a fall on the o-course. - "I fell on it and it just came out. ... I kind of wanted to puke. The adrenaline kicked in and I just put it back in." - She was in tears at the finish line but better spirits back at the athlete tent. - "Now it feels really unstable." — The eight-time CrossFit Games qualifier has withdrawn from the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games. 📷 @rubywolff
