First of all, welcome to TeamWAG!

My name is Tara Roberts.  I started my fitness journey in junior high when I started running track and playing softball.  I loved being active and outside.  I took a break from sports during high school and picked back up with running when I turned 30.  I noticed my body was changing and I wanted to get healthy for myself and my family.  Since starting running at age 30,  I’ve completed several half and full marathons. I still felt like I wanted to do more and try other aspects of fitness.  I started Crossfit in 2013 and immediately fell in love with it.  I got my Crossfit Level 1 trainer certification in 2016 and have been coaching ever since.  Although I was active with Crossfit and running, I noticed a missing piece which was nutrition and learning how to fuel my body to achieve my body composition goals.  That led me to WAG and getting my certification in 2018.  Since then, I’ve been working with clients and helping them learn how to reach their goals too.  That ranges from improving hormonal health, fueling their bodies for working out, or learning how to develop a positive relationship with food and self-image.
