My initial goals were:
1. I wanted to become lighter and leaner.
2. I wanted to see if my athletic performance could be improved with a change in my diet.
I've lost over 20 pounds so far!
No question WAG has helped transform me physically. I have lost weight-20 lbs since starting this past January- and in the process, I have become the leanest I have ever been. My performance in the gym has also improved significantly. I CrossFit to be strong and fit and have noted a major improvement in my metabolic conditioning especially since starting WAG.
The accountability WAG has held me to has been key! Tracking and logging daily, and checking in weekly are the most valuable aspects of WAG. My coach has provided me with a high level of professional advice and insight, as well as support. She has taken the time to understand my life and its challenges, thereby really personalizing my WAG experience. I'm very grateful for her encouragement and positive voice.
At 52, I feel the best I ever have. I'm a physician in a busy practice. My days are long and unpredictable. Because of the time and attention I give to my health, I feel like a finely tuned machine and can tolerate the stress well. It takes time and effort to prep my food every night, but it's totally worthwhile! I'm also a wife and mother with two teenage sons. My husband appreciates the changes I have made and has been extremely supportive of me on my journey with WAG. My boys think I'm the biggest badass in the house right now. Gonna ride this wave while I can!
