I joined WAG hoping to lose weight and see more muscle definition in my body while maintaining strength for CrossFit. I've lost 13 pounds!

I joined WAG because I wanted to see a change in my body composition and to have someone hold me accountable through the process of learning how to consistently fuel my body for CrossFit. I knew I was working hard in the gym, but I wanted my body to reflect the amount of effort I was putting in.

To say that WAG has changed my life would be an understatement. Changes in my body composition quickly became a secondary focus once I realized how much working with my WAG coach, Katie Holmes, was improving my mindset and self-talk. Over the past year, I have not only learned an immense amount of knowledge about what macros work best for my body, but I have also learned how to have a healthy relationship with food, be kind to myself when life doesn’t go according to plan, and how to apply a growth mindset to all aspects of my life. I never thought this process would teach me so much about myself, but I am so grateful that it did, and I can’t wait to see what progress I can continue to make over the next year!
