I can honestly say that I believe WAG saved my life. It's not easy and I regularly have episodes of self doubt and self loathing but thanks to my WAG coach I keep on top of things.

My goal was to lose weight, reduce body fat and increase my athletic performance.

Since the beginning of my weight loss journey (this time) I have lost around 44 kg (nearly 100 lbs). I started at 130 kg (286 lbs). I now sit around 86.5 kg to 87 kg (190 lbs).

I had yoyo'd for many years after being very athletic as a young bloke. I sustained a back injury which put me in hospital for a long period followed by a long period of rehab and associated weight gain, self loathing and depression. After 20 years of this, I made the decision to have a sleeve gastrectomy. I felt that this would give me the best chance to turn things around. I quickly lost around 25 kg and plateaued at 105 kg. I had been CrossFitting for for about 3 years by this time and one of my coaches/good friends, (the Awesome Kate Morris) had been with WAG for around 3 months and was getting great results.

With her encouragement, love and support I started on my WAG journey. After 2 years I am walking around at between 86 kg and 87 kg. It's not easy and I regularly have episodes of self doubt and self loathing but thanks to my WAG coach, Kate and my fantastic wife Trish (also with WAG through Kate and the WAG Business Program) I keep on top of things.

I can honestly say that I believe WAG saved my life.
